We keep information for as long as needed to provide Smartic, improve the product, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Retention is not “everything forever.” When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Aggregated and de-identified usage information may be retained longer to improve overall product quality, reliability, and consistency.
Access is limited to systems and authorized people who need it to operate, support, or secure Smartic. Service providers who help us run the product may process information only as needed for those roles.
We do not sell personal information.

Some limited records may remain when required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Smartic uses Google Sign-In. You authenticate with Google; Smartic receives the identity details needed to recognize your account and keep your session secure. We do not receive your Google password.
Chrome permissions allow Smartic to appear on supported YouTube pages, show insights in context, authenticate your account, and store limited local state. They are not a license to monitor unrelated websites.
Smartic analyzes relevant, publicly available information associated with videos to generate useful recommendations. Over time, account-associated history and aggregated product insights may help Smartic feel more consistent and helpful—without implying that every recommendation is manually reviewed by a person.
